ME
About
Since childhood, I have been involved in competitive sports. I played competitive tennis from the age of six and later helped as a tennis coach for young tennis players from 6 to 10 years old. I continued playing tennis until the beginning of my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, the 28th most prestigious university in the USA.
I have wanted to study in the USA since childhood and thought it was an impossible dream. During the course of applying for studies, I was not able to get any help and I had to get all the documents and information by myself. After almost a year's process, I was accepted to four American universities. I decided to study at the University of Florida, which I started in 2016, specializing in Cognitive Neuroscience. In 2018, I started specializing in General Psychology until I graduated in 2020 with Cum Laude honors.
In 2020, I started my master's degree in Psychology at the State University of New York under the auspices of the University of New York in Prague. I finished my studies with a state exam in Psychology and a thesis defense on the topic "The role of social learning in sport", where I investigated the relationship between social learning and anxiety and contact sports and aggression. I obtained a double degree through the state exam - Czech Mgr. and American M.A.
In 2022, I also completed concussion diagnosis and prevention training in sports conducted by the University of Michigan (Michigan Concussion Center) and NeuroSport. Over the past few years, I have been fortunate to collaborate and consult with professionals in the field such as Dr. Deborah Roche, team psychologist for the NHL team New York Rangers or PhDr. Marián Jelínek, a leading mental coach and sports psychologist in the Czech Republic.
